The Ranger, a feared hunter who uses a deadly combination of marksmanship and tracking instincts.
And the Scoundrel, a neer-do-well who makes the best of limited resources and subverts enemies defenses with stealth attacks.

This version fixed a number of issues, added iPad support (no need to purchase again if you bought the iPhone version), and added a ton of words!
Optimizing your way through this dungeon crawler is a lot of fun. :) my current favourite build is a scoundrel, maxing out intelligence points early on for quick levelling.
A fun and addictive little crawler, but its not without its flaws. Some errors in both fact and spelling and a few blank clues put a damper on the fun. Youll know the answer to every clue after two or three playthroughs. But this is a very early build (1.0), so lets hope these issues get rectified. If the phrase "Crossword Dungeon" sounds interesting to you, youll enjoy the game.
Some bad moments
I would give 5 stars but some of the words or a lot are misspelled, 5 so fare.
I like the rpg setup with the crosswords. You explore the letters one at a time and sometimes have to spell things backwards while you battle monsters with correct letters in the crossword spaces. The abilities with some letters are pretty cool too.
Very cool idea and overall a fun game to play! Adds strategy elements to the classic puzzle game.
Havent seen the spelling errors others mentioned. The biggest problem Ive had is that the game cant be continued after a certain (seemingly random) point. When I resume, my characters data remains intact but the level he was on has been corrupted somehow.
The clues repeat after awhile, and theyre not terribly difficult to begin with.
Id rate 4 stars with the continue problem fixed and 5 with harder/more clues added.
This is the way portable gaming must go, with fresh new ideas like this nobody is gonna get bored anytime soon.
This game has it all crosswords in a rogue like environment with supercool rpg elements! Cant put it away, plus the Dev is planning lots of updates and its going universal soon!
Cool idea for a game. Had fun playing it and found myself wanting to keep playing even after game over. Thats a good sign coming from me. Havent run into the bugs/crashes others have experienced but Im sure they will be addressed quickly. I think Ill actually invest in a mac and finally develop an app of my own. Keep up the good work!
Super repetitive. Appears much more deep than it actually is. This is little more than a crossword puzzle. Also many of the clues are flat out wrong. Ridley Scott was NOT the director of 2001, Kubrick was. Much room for improvement.
